The Act also ensures that the women in Virginia always have guaranteed choices of quality, affordable health insurance if they lose their jobs, switch jobs, move, or become sick, through creation of Exchanges.

The Act requires new plans to cover prevention and wellness benefits at no charge. The cover will be provided with exemption of these benefits from deductibles and other cost-sharing requirements.

It is clear that with so many reforms coming up for implementation, women will enjoy better options of health insurance and medical plans in Virginia.
