Gene Simmons Family Jewels' And 'The Glades' On A&E in Dish Network's Programming

Dad is Gene Simmons - the legendary, tongue-wagging demon of KISS. Mom is Shannon Tweed -former Playmate of the Year, actress and model. And their kids Nick and Sophie are dealing with the trials and tribulations of adolescence, even though Mom and Dad are truly like no one else's parents.

Gene and Shannon have been happily "unmarried" for over 20 years and have no plans of getting married any time soon. Gene is a multi-millionaire rock star and a multi-media magnate. He is a renowned ladies man - but also the kind of dad who brings Gatorade to his daughter's soccer games and stands in the front row when his son's rock band plays gigs. Each episode of Gene Simmons Family Jewels reveals another layer of Gene's private self, a side that he has kept hidden until now, and shows how the most non-traditional, traditional family in America manages to make it all work under the strangest of circumstances. Funny, loving, often at odds, this is a real life extraordinary family -but one that we can all identify with.

The Glades

The Glades is a character-driven police procedural set in the fictional town of Palm Glade, Florida starring Australian actor Matt Passmore. Matt plays Jim Longworth, an attractive, brilliant, yet hard to get along with homicide detective from Chicago who is forced into exile after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his former captain's wife. Longworth relocates to the sleepy, middle-of-nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, where the sunshine and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. Yet life in this sleepy town is not as beautiful as it may seem.

Longworth was looking for a change of pace from his old life with the Chicago PD, and a change is definitely what he found. But this town outside the Florida Everglades isn't quite as idyllic as he thought, as he finds people keep turning up murdered. One week it's a body in a swamp, the next it's a corpse inside a plane at a nature preserve, then it's a man found dead at a bikini contest. Each case pulls Longworth off the golf course and reluctantly into his element as one of the sharpest homicide detectives in the field.

Between practicing his golf game, trying to get a date with Callie (Kiele Sanchez) - a quick-witted, beautiful medical student with a 12 year-old son and a husband in prison - avoiding wearing his state trooper uniform, and trying to solve a slew of homicide cases, Longworth's transition to his new surroundings is a bit more difficult than he expected. If he wasn't such a brilliant detective, maybe people would actually leave him alone and give him more time for leisure. In the meantime, he is realizing the skies in his new town are always sunnywith a chance of homicide.
