You may find this hard to believe but right now at the end of 2009 is a great time to pursue entrepreneur opportunities

The point is this: When things look impossible that might just be the best time to improve your business or start one.

- If you're currently in business you must work harder to satisfy your current customer base. Make sure they're pleased and then give them even more products and services to buy from you. It's easier to sell to repeat customers then create new ones.
This is a great way to leverage your current efforts into better efficiency. Customers are looking more and more for one stop shopping so this is a win-win for both sides.
- Look to buy competitive businesses. When times are tough those that don't know how to run businesses bail out. You can make an offer to purchase them to increase your customer list.
There are many Internet businesses that have a high ranking websites but are still struggling. If you can tap into a website currently getting high traffic it's like striking gold. These can often be picked up cheap and can help you better market your products.
- There is a relatively new business term known as "coopetition". Many competitors are now finding that it makes sense for joint ventures.
By forging relationships with competitors you can eliminate or lower costs and even provide better customer service. Companies that have done this find in many instances that they actually can expand their customer base with this strategy.
- Here's a big one. Tap into social networking sites for business promotion purposes. Facebook and MySpace and Twitter, etc. were once strictly for making friends and interacting on a personal level. But savvy businesses have crashed the party.
Many companies are now utilizing some personnel to do nothing but interact on these sites. It's a great way to get free exposure by providing information for your services or products. If you're not currently taking advantage of this you're missing the boat.
