It's very possible, for those interested in modeling or acting, to come across an agency who will try and catch you up in some sort of scam. You put your aspirations out there, and they ask for money with no intention of finding you work. It's more common than you think. Real agencies are fully licensed and have a client list full of names you know. If it's a big company that trusts the agency, you might be able to as well. Sure, confidence and charisma are necessary, but if you can't apply yourself, you're not going to get anywhere. I'm not trying to sound like your parents, but there it is: Apply yourself, kid, and you'll be better served than anyone working less hard than you.
