Dating Advice For Shy Men - How To Get Past The Point Of Being Shy With Women

You would probably never want to admit that you can be more than just a little bit shy in the presence of a woman

. Most guys who are shy around females don't exactly want other people to know about it or to make a big deal of it. Still, you probably also already know that shyness can be a bad thing, because it can hold you back from getting up the nerve to approach a woman that you really want to date. It might seem like this is something that you will always have to deal with, but that does not have to be the case.

Being shy around women is natural, up to a certain point. If you see a woman that you really like, then there is a good reason to feel a little shy. You probably want to come across as being as close to perfect as you can around her because you don't want to end up saying or doing something that could possibly make her not like you or not want to date you.

When your shyness around women gets to the point that it really hinders your social life, then you know that you need to do something about it, though. What can a shy guy do to get past that point and become a little more comfortable and outgoing around a woman he likes?

By far and large, the best antidote to shyness around women is exposure to them. By this I mean, you really have to get around as many women as you can and give yourself the chance to make some mistakes, be okay with it and move on. Most guys who are on the shyer side around females are that way because they don't have that much experience in just being friends with women.

That is another thing that can really help to break you out of your shell and make you feel a lot more comfortable in the presence of the opposite sex. Most guys that I know who are naturals with women, also happen to have several female friends that they really are just friends with. This gives them the experience that they need without any pressure of feeling like they have to impress a woman.

If you want to get past the point of being shy around females, and to have more of a chance of having the kind of social and dating life that you want to have my suggestion is this:

Make as many female friends as you can and give yourself as much face to face time with women so that it becomes second nature for you to be around the opposite sex. More than anything else, I have seen those two things take guys from being closed off and quiet around women to being a lot more outgoing and confident.
