Christmas Diet – Save your Figure During Christmas Holidays!
Christmas Diet Save your Figure During Christmas Holidays!
Christmas is coming and our worries as well. Every year is the same: eat-pray-don't loveNext day we feel full and guilty. Amounts of food and drinks didn't let us to relax. And it's so unsurprising that we can't fit our dress when Ney Year comes
I want to give some tips for people, who want to change the situation and enjoy the Holiday as much as they can.
Turkey is a great option for slimmers. It's full of protein, which helps fill you up, and includes zinc and minerals as well, which are keeping the immune system in the good shape. But the main advantage is turkey is lower in fat and calories than many other meats, especially the breast part. So, the better advice is to eat this part and don't worry about weight.
Don't pouring or spooning the turkey over when you want to add some oil or butter just use a pastry brush and the result will be much better: gold colour and less fat. The same with potato.
Before dig into the meat, remove the skin from the turkey, which contains a massive amount of calories and fat!
Make your own stuffing with chopped chestnuts, which contain much less fat than sausage meat! To keep the fat content down further, use a spray oil to fry onion if you plan to use it in stuffing.
Buy low-fat chipolata sausages and lean back bacon to make the sausage and bacon rolls, which are traditionally served with turkey.
A few words about Christmas Drinks.
All the celebration dictate own rules, but if you follow these tips that will be easy to keep your body in shape.
The best trick is to mix dry white or red wine with soda water or diet lemonade to make it last twice as long and half the calories. Dry wines contain fewer calories than sweeter wines. So, no worries!
Don't buy alcopops they're packed with calories and little else. And just because there is no really taste of alcohol it's so easy to drink large amounts of them. So, if you so much into the fruity flavour, add a dash or cordial or fruit juice to a wine and soda.
Follow in the celebrities' trick: enjoy a glass of bubbly. Generally you drink less as it's served in smaller glasses and the bubbles makes fill you up.
The oldest tip, but always working: mix spirits with low-calorie mixers such as diet coke/diet lemonade/slim-line tonic or bitter lemon.
slowly!
Beware of creamy liqueurs after dinner; you can have a single shot of brandy if you are really into fancy ending your meal.
And, finally, why not offer to drive from time to time over the festive season; in this case you are obliged to drink only low-calorie diet drinks!
What I s more dangerous for a figure than a main course? Festive food! Piece by piece we put it in the mouth don't even feel that all snacks are becoming a Christmas meal. The Tip#1: substitute everything what you can with fat-free/low-fat products (sauces, crisps, dips, snacks). Just don't forget to hide the pack! The taste doesn't have any difference, and we know it, but for you it will be a huge help.
Instead of fatty high-calorie courses as bubble and squeak and coronation turkey you can create something traditional and original at the same time, as turkey curry with brown rice aside/salad or turkey soup.
Be careful with sweets. Of course it's better to take a fruit pie or marzipan rather than heavy chocolate stuff, but this is the question of how much did you eat before. Don't keep yourself till desert, eat as much as you can (low fat food, of course) to fill already full before the Christmas cake. This is the real chance to take just a little piece and to be polite enough.
Basically, all these advises the question of control, but if you prepare you little tricky list of products 2-3 days before the shopping it can really save you and you figure. Don't shop hungry. It may be an old axiom, but it is a good one. Be sure to get plenty of exercise. The holiday season can be busy and exhausting. Don't skip on your regular exercise routine no matter how busy you are. Walk around your neighbourhood and look at Christmas lights: it is already enough to make your body physically toned.
I wish you maximum of joy and maybe for a few days forget about diet worries, but it is possible only if you will be warring before:-)
Merry Christmas!
