So it's big news that a 1926 Bugatti Type thirty eight was found dismantled in a barn in Sydney Australia this week. There is very little left of the doors, so this restoration project is set to be big for the mystery bidder, who is known to live in the northern hemisphere. Bonhams, the auctioneer who sold the vehicle said that only a handful of the motors made their way to Australia via the London Bugatti seller.
At the same auction a 1935 Bentley was sold for two hundred and three thousand pounds, and a jaguar XK120 sold for one hundred and fifty four thousand.
