Veena's mother is a house wife. She has four sisters and one brother. Her two elder sisters are passing a blessed married life and one of elder sister is a lecturer in Abdur Qadeer College Rawalpindi. Her younger brother is doing L.L.B and two younger sisters are also studying, one in M.B.A and the other in M.B.B.S. Veena Malik loves to spend her mostly time with her family especially she feels very comfortable with her brother. Veena is fortunate that before jumping showbiz she had ample opportunity to get maximum education comparatively contemporary heroines. She was very promising student that always outclassed in studies as well as in co-curriculum activities e.g.; Qirat, Naat and English/Urdu debates. She passed her intermediate and graduation

She got an invitation from renowned photographer Khawar Riaz for a commercial shoot at Bangkok for that she was paid 80,000 rupees. As nature was benign to her, it was Lollywood's well known artist cum director Javed Sheikh who offered her important role in Yeh Dil Aap Ka Hua'. The film proved blockbuster and paved the way to Veena in Lollywood. Viewing Veena's sublime performance Ajab Gul got selected her and threw leading role in Kyun Tum Say Itna Pyar Hey'. Veena accepted the challenge and paid her utmost attention on performance that ultimately brought her in A category. Her popularity touched the height when in Geo's parody show Hum Sab Umeed say Hain' she appeared in variety of guises. The attempt proved to be hugely successful and since then, there was no looking back as acting projects came forth steadily one after another. Shahzad Rafiq's blockbuster Mohbatan Sachian' proved a milestone in Veena's career as she worked solo heroine. The way she performed was applauded widely throughout the country and abroad. That's why number of other projects came forth to her doorstep. She has also worked in UAE's production work Wapsi' and Indian Punjabi film Pind di Kuri'.
