The obvious difference is that the lower bunk is placed on a right angle to the top bunk and it requires more space than the usual bunk bed. Basic lofts

Basic lofts are simply just a twin bed on top with a free space under it for you to place anything. With the basic loft, it can add up some ideas on how you can furnish further your room. Study lofts

Study loft beds are perfect for kids in middle-school or high school. It is perfect for younger kids for safety purposes. You can also find junior beds with features such as slides which can also be used for playing.
