Well I'm not sure about this idea, but I do know what will happen if you dont diet and exercise. It only leads to an unhealthy lifestyle, and increased chance of a variety of negative health conditions. Not to mention weight gain.
Exercise is necessary because it promotes proper blood circulation, and has a ton of health benefits that you wouldn't otherwise get if you didn't exercise. With one of them being weight loss.
And proper dieting is necessary because you're cutting out all of the problematic foods that are playing a big role in you be the size that you currently are. Plus, eating healthy is just plain good for your body. To go without diet and exercise is to simply ask for weight gain. Its not smart and just not a good idea.

3) Procrastination
This somewhat goes along with the notion above that you dont need to diet or exercise. Not doing anything is the surest way to not see results. To start losing weight today, start doing something now.
Sitting there and procrastinating will only make things worse. "Doing something" can be as simple as writing out what you will eat 30-days in advance. Write your way to success. Simply write it out and follow it. If you consider this "cheating your way to success" - then that simply doesn't make any sense. This is a weight loss secret that almost no one knows does.
You may be still thinking about your previous attempts at weight loss, and how slowly you gained weight then. And then stopped because the results weren't as much as you hoped them to be.
