3 Great Presents Kids Can Make For Rector Appreciation Day
Presents that kids can make to give to their rectors include the following: showing
appreciation through words, creating art projects as gifts, and giving a photo present.
During Rector Appreciation Day, adults are often the ones who give gifts to these church leaders. Youngsters may not have cash to buy a Pastor Appreciation Gift, but they're filled with genuine love and gratitude that they can show to their pastor. They can make presents that don't cost a penny but will make any heart melt. Just provide them a few art supplies, and they are off to create their own amazing presents to give.
Show gratitude through words
One of the quickest ways to let a person know he or she is exceptionally valued is to go directly to that person and let him know it. When there's a right moment, just urge your children to go up to your rector to say thanks to him and let him know how much he means to them. A great option would be to let your kids write down in words their appreciation for their pastor, that is if they already know how to write. Let them express what they feel in writing on a piece of clean paper, stationery, or card. You may guide them as they write the letter, however, as much as possible, the words in the letter must be from the kids themselves. Another option would be to write the name of your rector down the page and let the youngsters think of a positive word that starts with every letter in your rector's name. Let your kids use colored pens or crayons to write the words. You can even have your pastor's name description framed, so he can fix it on his wall and display it.
Make art projects as presents
Admiring art is very subjective; some people may like something, whereas others don't. Nonetheless, when the art project is done by a youngster, it's almost guaranteed that everybody will love it, especially the recipient of the art. Your rector will certainly cherish an art project that your kid has put time and effort into making. Bring out all the craft materials and provide your youngsters with several choices of art projects they can work on. They can make a cross, paint a significant picture, or create a collage that indicates the Fruit of the Spirit or different Christian values, including love, peace, joy, faith, and meekness, among others. You can also have the kids make greeting cards with illustrations and dedications inside. When they're done making their projects, have the works placed inside frames, if possible, before presenting them to your rector.
Give a photo present
Photos are also a wonderful gift to show your kids' gratitude to their pastor. Select a nice photo of your family or of your kids. Then, let your youngsters write a message on the back or at the bottom of the photo. Let them write as much as they want on the back of the picture, as long as it fits, but try to limit the words on the front so they don't cover up the picture. Then, put the picture inside a beautiful picture frame. You can also let the youngsters add decorations or write motivating words on the photo frame.
The innocence of kids in the way they express themselves through words and pictures are what makes every project they create a highly prized work of art.
