An acquaintance of mine took a trip with his family last year and didn't buy a Travel Medical Insurance policy because his credit card had a travel insurance feature. He thought he was covered if anything happened on his trip. Boy was he wrong! A few days into their vacation my friend had an acute appendicitis attack and had to be hospitalized, problem was they were no where near a decent facility.
