Grow Tents - Name Brand Versus Knock Off Comparison Review

With the recent boost of indoor growing lately there has been more talk about grow tents and which would be best for you. There are many who will talk up a specific brand name tent and how amazing it is compared to ones found on a popular auction site. We have personally tested 10 different brands and here are our conclusions which I hope will help you both save money as well as setup your indoor garden exactly how you want it. There was an issue with the white poly knock offs as well as the name brands with what is referred to as off gassing. The material used when got heated up ended up killing plants due to the plastic odor smell and chemical release from the material itself. There were plenty of very mad growers around however it wasn't simply isolated to the cheap tents in the least. No matter the brand this offgassing was an issue that each company had to do what they could to make it right with their customers. After buying 4x4 tents from a few companies and testing them I have found that the less expensive tents performed just as well as those that were $200+ more. The stitching and light leak issues will happen with any grow cabinet especially when made...more

Trip to the Rhone Valley

Being a motorhome enthusiast for twenty years now, I've always dreamt of that extended trip of fourteen weeks or so in Rhone Valley. Being a self employed tiler, I finally realised that I was in a position to make this dream a reality. My wife Tracy and our faithful cat Molly were more than willing to be travel partners on this trip of a lifetime. So after much research, planning and packing we were finally on the road to Rhone Valley. My motorhome is a seven year old two berth, coachbuilt Burstner with a Ford Transit engine and our previous longest trip was a twelve night trip to Ireland, covering 600 miles. This trip started with a choppy ferry trip, to take us to the continent, followed by a pleasant short road journey to our destination. We decided to make four overnight stops on our way there and these were mainly in aires, which suited us perfectly, as it broke up our journey. One feature of the journey was finding the local fuel prices very variable, but certainly more expensive than we have been used to on our previous visit. Our TomTom satellite navigation system was brilliant, although traditional maps are a must on a journey of this type. In fact we used...more
