On Tuesday 15th November, Grenadas minister of tourism, Peter David, announced that Caribbean Airlines (CAL) will begin operating a new route between Canada and Grenada starting 15th December 2011. Canadian holidaymakers planning Grenada holidays in the near future will be pleased to know that the airline is offering a new direct flight between the two destinations.The new twice a week service will depart from Trinidad and Tobagos Piarco International airport and will call at the Maurice Bishop International Airport in Grenada before continuing non-stop to Toronto. The return flight will arrive first in Grenada before its final landing in Trinidad and Tobago, thus offering a very convenient and direct non-stop route between Toronto and Grenada.Mr David also took the opportunity to confirm new winter chartered flights from two other airlines.
