When there's a blade at your throat and some worthless piece of crap that reeks of alcohol
, sweat, and garbage tells you to do what he says or he'll slit your throat, will you think about how you were too busy for that self defense seminar? When you hear the screams of your family members down the hall and all you can do is tell them not to be afraid, because there is a gun against your skull will you think about that weapons disarm you were to busy to learn? When they've taken your money, your property, and what ever else they fee like, will you think those guys from the Self Defense Company weren't so crazy after all? Look at it this way, if you're in an attempted rape and you can reduce your risk of being rape, injured and killed from 100% (if you did NOTHING) to 14% (if you fought back), I'll take those odds 7 days a week, twice on Sunday!!! If you supplement your will to live with the RIGHT training, statistically your chances of survival are near 100%.
There are a million excuses not to train with a system like the Self Defense Training System(TM), and if you're like me you've probably used most of them to justify not working out. What is It's amazing that even after being victimized by crime and violence some people still don't see the need for learning how to protect themselves. They sit like sheep waiting to be sheared. I suppose sacrifices must be made and while you will continue to be targeted as a victim, the rest of us will go untouched. Your excuse stinks, like all excuses. You either choose to fight or not. Stand up or be taken. If you chose not to act, please don't waste anyone's time complaining. The resources are there in front of you.

Criminals steal from the RICH and one wrong turn on vacation, one meeting going a little too late, one extra round at the bar can land you in your own private hell.
When you're attacked it won't matter what your credit limit is, how many apps you have on your cell phone or how much you made last year. All that will matter is whether you can fight back or not. You'll pickup a pack of cigarettes every week without fail and slowly kill yourself, but you think buying pepper stray is a waste of money. You've probably headed home drunk and alone plenty of times, because you didn't want to bother your friends and you probably forget where you parked. If any of this sounds like you well you need you're providing the opportunity for some scumbag to pick you as his next victim. Its only a matter of time.
The police and security are not your personal body guards. They can't be everywhere at all times. Even at best, the response time is 5 minutes (according to the Uniform Crime Report response to violent crime for Police is any were from 5 minutes to over 60!!)
5 minutes is an eternity when you're fighting for your life. Could you survive 5 minutes with an animal who could give a crap about your 15th Reunion, your family, your little hopes and dreams? No one says you should start arming yourself and storing canned food in your basement, but at the very least you should know SOMETHING about saving your own ass.
Self defense is about piece of mind and protecting all you hold dear. So when the time arises you will be there to meet the change. Survival is a natural instinct. Don't wait for the last minute to find out if you have what it takes. Start training before your worst fear become apparent. Be ready and willing not victimized and recovering.
