Video Marketing is a highly used tool for getting your online home
business known on the internet. There are a lot of sites to put your
video on, but YouTube is by far the best. YouTube is owned by Google,

The most important thing when putting your video out there is to use
good keywords. Think of what people are searching for that is relevant
to your content. Pick one or two really good keywords and use them in
your title, description and tags.
When using YouTube you can categorize your videos. When categorizing
them, it will give you a more defined keyword search for the search
engines to find your videos. YouTube will give you a URL for each
video you post so that you can put it on other sites and share with
other people. The more you share your video the more views you get,
which makes the search engines happy.
Add text to your video.
There are a lot of people out there that can not hear, so when adding
text to your video they will be able to understand your content.
Also, the search engines can not decipher audio, so when you use text
they can find your keywords. Make sure your text is relevant to what
you are saying in your video and use your keywords there also.
You can make tons of videos and post them on YouTube, but if your
keywords are not what people are searching for, they will never be
viewed. One of the best way to get more views is to bookmark them.
There are a lot of different sites to bookmark your videos on. There
is probably over one hundred sites you can bookmark too, a few are
Dilisous, Digg and Stumble Upon. It takes a long time to bookmark to
each one of these sites. What I use, is SocialAdr, they have free and
paid programs. The best part about the paid, which is pretty cheap,
is you do not have to do anything except put in a title, url,
description and tags, they send it out to all the bookmarking sites
for you.
Another good place to put your videos is on your blog. Having pages
of videos, with good content on your blog, will make the search
engines happy and give you higher seo rankings.
Get on Twitter and Facebook.
Set up a good profile on Twitter and Facebook, then start posting you
videos there. On Twitter you can only use 140 charters, so all you
need is the url that YouTube gives you and post it. On Facebook you
can literly upload the video right there, and then people can click on
it and view it. The more views and comments you get, the better for
your business. One warning, do not promote your business only on
Facebook, you will be considered as a spammer.
When using YouTube to upload you videos, put a really good profile
there too. Let people know who you are and what your business is.
Interact with people, check out their channels, subscribe, and invite
them as a friend. The more friends you have the more views you will
get. You can also broadcast you newly uploaded videos to your
friends.
Again do not just blast your online home business, people are really
tired of that these days, and want real friends. People that can
offer them something of value, the more you give the more you get.
If you use these few SEO tips for boosting your video marketing, it
will take your online home business to the top of Google, which is
where every business wants to be.
