Trading Made Easy

When it comes to trading, you may have flashbacks back to your younger days

, when marbles were really, really popular. Perhaps you didn't have many marbles. Perhaps there were several children who were better off than you with better ones. Either way, you didn't have as many marbles as the others. But, say that you had a better marble than anyone else. Now, on one hand, you could have kept it and lost it at some point. Or you could have used it to your advantage. What you may not realize is that this is what trading is all about. It is about taking your resources that others may not have, and trading them for something of equal or greater value.

When it comes to trading, there are loads of things that you can trade. Marbles are definitely one of them. But you can also trade money and stocks.

Stocks can be a risky business, but if you make the right choices, you can also make quite a bit of money.

Trading is all about opportunity. If you don't have the product, you don't have an opportunity. If you don't have the interested traders, you don't have the opportunity. The point is, there are opportunitiesit is up to you to find those opportunities as you go.

Another thing to keep in mind while trading is the actual worth of your items. For example, say that you were putting a car up for trade. Now, you need to not only calculate how long you have had said car, but you also need to look at how much the car needs to be worked on. If the car needs a new engine, that is five hundred (depending if it's just fixable) to up to several thousand dollars. You also need to take into account the interior. For example, you can't just say "Oh, yes! This car has heated seating, etc, etc" without mentioning that the car has torn up seats. True, this might further accentuate the heating capabilities, but you'll also end up with an unsatisfied trader. Probably because along with those "heated seats", they will receive a burnt butt and probably a few cuts because of the seat springs.

The point is, you can't cheat someone. Well, you can, but that will make it harder for you to find people who are willing to trade with you. It will give you an undesirable reputation. The other thing you need to remember when it comes to trading is that you need a good reputation. This isn't To Kill a Mocking Bird. There isn't just one type of person you shouldn't cheat, but you should give everyoneno matter how obnoxious, the same chance to trade with you.

As far as stocks go, it works a bit differently. You don't normally have to deal with anyone except for your stockbroker and even then, they take care of the major transactions. If you happen to have a stock you want to sell, you need to keep an eye on it. If it seems to have started to peak, you may want to give it one day. This allows you to see if it is going to climb any further. If your stocks have the habit of climbing and then falling, keep in mind any recurring patterns so that you have a better idea of when to sell.
