Whenever one has gone out in search of a job, the first hurdle they have faced is about where to start their search. The friends and families are asked about a job in their mind. The chain goes on, which probably would never result in the job coming to this person's hands. If the person would have gone to a recruitment consultancy, then a major part of the job offers would have been over in a fortnight or so. This not only shows the efficiency of such recruitment consultancy companies but also points to the fact that they are the right persons to approach.

A recruitment agency is there as a go between the company searching for a suitable candidate and the candidate who wants a job in a particular company. In the absence of such an agency, neither the approach is possible nor is the resume able to reach the company.

Therefore the liaisoning has to be proper. The recruitment consultancy is not a non profitable company that is running for the job seeking work. But still, the payment pattern has been made in such a manner that the people are able to get the notifications for their jobs in a regular manner. Only after the deal is finalized, do these companies charge their fees. The important work that these agencies do is to act as a point where a number of resumes come. These agencies then separate them according to the job profile and the qualifications thereof.

On the other side, the agency has a number of client companies who are looking out for a befitting candidate for their job. The company gives the directives to the agency about the qualification and criteria that they want in their new recruit. Whenever such a candidate or candidates come into their view field, they are informed about the search by a company. After that the candidate is transferred to the client company for further calls and interview. It is up to the company now to decide after a few rounds of test to take in the candidate or not.

In a way, the agency of recruitment consultancy is only acting to streamline the process of recruitment. They are doing the screening process to identify the few people who meet the qualification and requirement by the company. This kind of process provides the scope for the candidate to get the right jobs and allows the company to recruit the most befitting employee for the vacancy.
