The Best Business To Start With Low Start Up Funding

Share: In each of us there is an entrepreneur striving to get out
. We all dream of being our own boss. Making the kind of money that we want and deserve and living in the lap of luxury. So what stops us? Money is what stops us. Most people falsely believe that the only way to go into business for themselves is to have the money to build a business.
Let's take a look at a few facts:
1. A recent study that was done by the Kauffman Foundation showed that each month 30% of Americans are starting a new business. That is almost 500,000 businesses a month and slightly below 6 million a year.
2. The U.S. Small Business Associations shows that of all those new businesses, over half of them will fail before they see their 4th year and a third of them will not make it 2 years.
What do those facts mean to you? It means that statistically speaking you have a 44% finding the best business to start that will still be operational in 5 years and a 30% chance you will make it 7 years or longer. The reason for this is start up funding. The lack of money... or better, the lack of understanding what it costs to go into business and remain functional is missing.
Here we are going to offer ideas for the best businesses to start with little to no start up funding. Keep in mind that the businesses listed below are home based businesses. The main reason is little to no overhead. You already pay to live at your home, you already have utilities and chances are better than not you have a phone and internet.
* Affiliate marketing - This business will really only cost you time to start. You will need to decide on a market that you are interested in, say health and wellness, and then find products that offer affiliate programs for you to promote. (A simple internet search of 'health and wellness affiliate products' should bring up plenty of options.) Start picking products and promoting them. You can promote them online, via word of mouth or run ads in your local papers. If you want to do this and spend the least amount possible, market online on a blog, social network and forums.
* Blogging - every time you are on the computer surfing the net, you are reading a blog of some type. You can create your own blog for free, get an AdWords and AdSense account from Goggle and start making income. I am making it sound easy, but it does require work, but it cost you very little to get started.
* Blog for others - if you like to write, have knowledge in a certain area, look for blogs on that topic and offer to write for the webmaster. You can make anywhere from $2 - $100 for a blog post depending on where you are blogging.
* MLMs - multilevel marketing requires very little start-up funding. It requires more knowledge building than anything else. You need to understand how to do MLMs, create a website, drive traffic to your site, and how to operate within the MLM world. This can all be done online for the most part and it can be one of the more successful ventures you can enter into when working online.
Remember the best business to start is the business that you are going to enjoy working.
