Many grocery stores and big box stores have large bins near the front doors for their plastic bags to be recycled which helps make the choice for paper or plastic a little easier. The other option is the reusable totes that seem to be popping up in all the stores. Some grocery stores will even pay a person a couple of cents when they use the reusable totes as an incentive to keep their bag costs low.
Having a businesses name printed on their plastic bags will help with that companies advertising needs. When people leave the store and walk to their cars or reuse the bags for something else, this is free advertising because the bags have the business logo or name in large print. Trade shows or home shows are another place where the placed bags or reusable totes with a company logo or name imprinted on them would be a good idea because potential customers are walking around viewing others with the bags.
Polyethylene and polypropylene come in many different types and styles for bags of all shapes and sizes. There are the trashcan size bags that are strong or thick bags for something like ice. There are the super thin bags that protect dry cleaning and anti-static bags or extra large furniture bags and a zip-locking style bag for holding just about anything. A business could save some of their advertising dollars and spend more on their plastic bags budget because a lot of people see these type of bags.
Custom poly bags could be constructed for a million different products from a small bag for candy or pills to a large bag that would cover a mattress to keep it clean and dry in storage. By adding a logo, company name, website or phone number, a business could help to advertise themselves to hundreds of other people when their customers carry their bags around town or reuse them for something. The money spend on personalizing these type of plastic bags will help to pay for them with new customers revenue.
