You can minimize this if you want, but don't think you can sit behind a computer screen and never have to talk to anyone. Some people can do most of their correspondence through email, but some people will only talk to a live person. If you want a thriving business, you will have to accommodate those people, either by yourself, an assistant, or a customer service center.
A home based web business will require basic technology skills and continued education. The fourth thing to keep in mind with a home based business is learning copywriting and marketing. Any time you have a business, you're selling something. The better you get at copywriting and marketing, the faster and easier you'll sell whatever you want to! Again, being willing to learn will be a huge asset to your home based business.
Twenty years ago, it was rare to find people who made significant incomes from home. Now, the number is increasing rapidly. It's part of the change happening in our economy and global marketplace.
