Check to see if they display examples of clients work on their sites or see if they have won any industry awards. If they can't show you any on-line or in person then be very careful about proceeding with them. Lastly ask if you can come along and see your shirts being printed, this is a very common request especially for large runs and is know in the trade as an "on 'press" inspection.
