The search engines, especially Google, see links as signs of the popularity, i.e. the more sites are linking to your site, the more popular it is among them.
But Google sees it also as a sign of a usefulness, i.e. the more links, the more useful is your site. This is the reason, why they rank these sites higher on the result pages. These rankings mean bigger traffic volume.
1. The Articles.
When you write articles to promote your business you will get two benefits. The articles, which will be widely distributed, build links, because they carry a so called about the author box, which has a hyperlink with an anchor text. When people find these articles from the directories, they read them and click the link to land on the landing page.
But the search engines will also find them from the high PR article directories. For them the hyperlink in the high PR directory means, that they will raise the ranking of the landing page on the result page of the keyword as an anchor text.
2. Blog Commenting.
The related, high PR blogs offer a chance to build links by commenting the post or the comments from other marketers. Again, if the anchor text is used, the comment is a great link building tool and will also bring visitors.
3. Bought Services.
On certain marketing forums, there are entrepreneurs, who offer special packages, which include sites on which it is possible to submit hyperlinks. These are high PR sites, but often not related. However, if you will get your online home business opportunity links on these sites, they are valuable links.
4. Directory Submitters.
With the directory submitters I mean softwares, which submit the hyperlinks into some hundreds of sites quickly. These are like whatever links, which have only the anchor texts, but which can also bring visitors. A good thing is, that the sites of the submitters are known, so you will know in advance, what PR classes they cover.
5. Organic Links.
This class is of course the best one. What every online home business opportunity needs is the natural, i.e. organic, business links. These have been formed after the usual site contacts and the visitors have bookmarked the sites by themselves.
