Is Usana a Scam? Truth About The Usana Business Model?

I am often amused when people who are not involved in the MLM industry make unsubstantiated

and uneducated claims about MLM companies and their business practices. I constantly see the same words and phrases coming from such people who have no idea what they actually mean. Words often used by such ignorant people include; "scam" and "pyramid". Often I find that they have no idea what these terms mean or how they apply to a particular company.

Usana have been manufacturing and distributing products all over the world since the early 90's. Obviously, given their outstanding history, any suggestion that they are either a Scam or a Pyramid is utter rubbish.

Let me just preface this article by stating that I am not now, nor have ever been affiliated with Usana, do not use their products (although I have in the past) and am not a distributor of the Company. However, having been involved in the MLM industry for the past fifteen years and analysed quite a few Compensation Plans, I can say without reservation that Usana has extremely high ethical standards and business practices. Their products provide excellent value and offer Business Associates outstanding opportunity to develop a very profitable business of substantial size.

They have won several international awards for both products and compensation plan which many other MLM companies openly credit as a basis for their own. They continually meet strict FTC guidelines in USA and have received critical acclaim from the MLM Industry watchdogs for their work over the last 15 years.

It is true that history is littered with Scams & Pyramid Schemes, many of whom have not been approved by International Authorities; but Usana has been proven by many to be a model MLM company and an excellent blueprint for success in the very competitive Network Marketing or MLM Industry. The science behind their product is very impressive; with more clinical studies and trials being conducted on the company and it's products than ever before in the industry.

Their compensation plan provides it's distributors with better average earnings than most other companies. They conform to all international regulations and stands alone in the industry. Their annual distributor retention rate is unparalleled in the industry and they are held in very high stead by their distributor force.

The conclusion is unquestionable; Usana is neither, a Scam nor a Pyramid Scheme. Anyone thinking about joining a MLM or Network Marketing business would be well advised to use them as a benchmark to compare all other companies against and could not find a finer opportunity in which to invest their time and recourses.

However, bear in mind that the Industry a whole has moved on from the "Old School" techniques of the 90's. New distributors and those looking to transfer from other companies would be well advised to "upskill" to modern Online MLM techniques before pursuing the outdated and ineffective business building methods of the past.
