I want to tell you a fact about the water hyacinth
. And that is that the water hyacinth is one of the most productive plants on earth because it reproduces at an astonishing rate. In 30 day a single water hyacinth can cover an entire pond, just by doubling itself every day.So what has this got to do with my Internet Based Business Opportunity? Well imagine if your business could grow at that rate!
Let me put this into perspective and go back to the story of the water hyacinth and how it achieves this amazing feat.
One the first day, you will not even see it. And this is true of the first few weeks; the water hyacinth will be barely visible and not make any great waves on the pond. Even on day 20 (remember that we are only talking 30 days) the water hyacinth will only cover an area about the size of a small mattress; but the water hyacinth keeps going and keeps working away at reproducing itself.
On day 29 only half of the pond is covered with water hyacinths. But on day 30 the pond will be a blanket of water hyacinths.
So imagine when you are starting out in you new Internet based business opportunity; you are exactly like the water hyacinth; you start to market your business and you keep working away, all the time doing that little bit more, doubling your work in order to generate leads.
But its a few weeks down the line, people have been to your site, they have read you blogs and articles and youve generated a few leads. So you keep working away, doubling the amount of time you use to market you business. A few more weeks down the line you seem to be doing even more work but the leads are not as many as you would like.
What do you do? Do you give up? Throwing in the towel, with the opinion that all this is a waste of time and effort. Or are you like the water hyacinth and keep going until you have built the best Internet business?
