There are many business owners who think the purpose of their website is to generate instant sales; however, people who are in internet based marketing know this isn't the case. The purpose of a website is to generate lists of contact information in order to generate leads and multiple follow-up sales. In creating a contact list you can send prospective clients promotional material, bargains, and sell product to them multiple times without worrying whether they will keep coming back to your website or store.
