of 2010 the world of SEO changed dramatically, the search engine giant Google is capable of
changing the SEO industry at will and their introduction of Google Caffeine is no exception.
Those of us in the Search Engine Optimization(SEO) market are often impacted the most
because the majority of SEO work involves improving a web site's position in search engine
results or Google ranking.
What is Google Caffeine?
Simply put, Google Caffeine is Google's new web page indexing system, with that said Google
Caffeine is not a method for ranking sites so much as it is a method of indexing them. You can

What effects are directly related to SEO
For starters updates to a website are noticed by Google much quicker. Where updates once
took three or four months to effect a website's Google ranking, improvements reflect in as little
as 30 days in their most recent efforts while updates to the search engine index continuously.
Therefore, the major effect Google Caffeine has on SEO is that efforts made to alter a site's
SEO and Google ranking will take affect much faster than before. In many cases the effects will
take place almost instantly once the ranking system is updated to catch up with the indexing

Note that just because Google recognizes your SEO efforts faster doesn't necessarily mean they
will update the rankings simultaneously. The system was only recently implemented on June,

it takes for your site to move in search results hasn't improved much as of the writing of this

In addition, Google now puts more emphasis on the importance of site speed making it essential
that you run on a fast server or with a fast and reliable web hosting company. As mentioned
earlier, Google has only changed their indexing system and have not fully updated their ranking
system, this means even though you may get indexed quicker the position of your site may not
change for some time. While it may be true certain efforts will be recognized faster than others,
the entire system does not yield to your efforts instantaneously.
Another primary adjustment is quality, Google is striving to improve the quality of the top listed
sites. As a result the search engine behemoth will begin ranking sites with better content above
those that are full of spam and have keyword saturation, the effects of this change are already
being noticed by SEO experts and major Internet companies.
What's more the quality of the sites you link to play a big factor in changing your site's position.
This has been known for some time in fact but we suspect link relevancy and quality are going to
be a growing factor in the way your site is indexed on Google.

As a result I predict this to only help the everyday surfer, top quality articles only mention the
keyword phrases where appropriate instead of whenever possible as it was with the keyword
stuffed articles of the recent past.
Not only are keyword article writers going to lose work to higher qualified writers, article
spinning is going to go out as well. If you haven't heard of it, article spinning is the practice of
taking an article and replacing or adjusting the words then publishing it as a new article. Simply
a duplicate article randomly rearranged. While this might have been effective in the past Google
is consistently coming up with equations to correct this content "glitch, caffeine is the only
answer I have heard of so far.
