Adam: Hi, This is Adam, this is yet another video with Steve Soreno, author of the Global Warming Survival Bible.
Steve, what long term planning people should make with regards to global warming survival?
Steve: That's a question we get more and more often lately: long term planning for global warming survival. And to that, I always add, that it's not just survival, because there will be positive sides to global warming as long as people know to anticipate what they are and how to use them.
To come back to your question, there are specific areas of life that can be planned out for the long term. They range from:
the location of your family in the future, should you choose to relocate (and some people will, and in fact, are choosing that now), to how energy independent you have to become, depending on where you live (and most importantly how to achieve a decent level of energy independence with minimum expenses),
and, ranging from changes in the type of investments (even tiny ones) that you make now to the kind of knowledge that you want absorb that will make an enormous difference in the future.
This planning would have to start now. Even if the changes you choose to make are small, they will make a major difference in the quality of your life in the coming years because they will put you far ahead of others. Everyone has got their own choice to make with regards to when to start taking those steps but I really hope everyone is starting now to at least get informed and know what to expect.
