After a very long time, my family have decided to get together and have a BBQ. We have all been very busy with work and studying, so as the weather has started to get better, I thought it was time to make an effort for the family and called every member to arrange a day.
We haven't decided on a date yet but I suggested the Easter holidays as all those that are studying will be free and those who are working can book a day during that week. I am hoping that everyone decides to arrange it on a weekend, so then I won't need to take a day off work.
I really want to make the most of our BBQ day, so I have been planning and organising games for us to play, so I made a list of fun games and
team building activities. I need to do the food shopping but before I do, I will ask every one if they will like anything in particular.
I have left it up to my dad to do the meat buying, my mum for snacks and other things to go with it and I have taken full responsibility for the desert. Desert is my favourite part of the meal, I can skip main course and just live on that but unlucky for me, my beloved boyfriend the health freak' won't let me do that.
I'm really looking forward to this BBQ, as I will get to eat unhealthy, greasy and fatty food after a very long time. At home, my boyfriend will only eat healthy food and to save time, I eat whatever I cook for him.
