Aviation Security The British American Security Expert Perspective
The introduction of a new aviation security human x-ray machine installed at Manchester
England International airport caused a huge surge in the number of passengers voicing concerns about big brother intrusion.
aviation security consultants are stating, it appears many passengers resent the fact that aviation and transportation security has been taken a step too far. The new xray security machine scans passenger's right down to their birthday suit.
Many aviation security passengers are fearful that aviation and transportation security may be taking aviation and security too far.
These new security in aviation strategies have attracted the attention of the media and the BBC in particular.
After the national media reported the negative aspects of self conscious aviation passengers feeling uncomfortable at the thought of any aviation security officer being able to view them in all their naked glory, the BBC contacted me to provide a live radio discussion about aviation security.
At 2-15pm on October 14th 2009 I provided a live online radio discussion for the BBC WM midlands radio station. The thrust of the discussion focussed on the increase in security in aviation, airports security and xray security.
BBC viewers and listeners voiced concerns that aviation security international were losing sight of the fact, that fee paying aviation passengers feel that security is impacting on their air travel time. Many also feel that security in aviation should be relaxed given the reduction in airports security related problems.
As the British American Security Expert, my first task was to try and shake the listeners out of this terrible security affliction that aviation security consultants call 'Condition White'. This condition means that people go about their lives in blissful ignorance of any security related problems materialising around them.
Most security experts know that complacency is one of the gravest issues relating to Condition White.
From a counter terrorism perspective security complacency gets people killed. If this sounds like I'm being paranoid, then you are absolutely right. The only difference is, my paranoia is professional paranoia. I have been trained by some of the finest security and aviation security experts in the world.
In my capacity as the British American Security Expert, I have been quoted on record stating that terrorist organisations spend years looking to exploit the weakest links in aviation security.
The American Airlines flights 11 & 77, and United Airlines flights 93 & 175 of September 11th can provide no clearer indication of the lengths professional terrorist will go to, to achieve mission success.
It's no great secret that aviation and security, took a huge global financial knock post Sept' 11th. However most aviation security consultants agree that aviation and transportation security is now at the best level it has ever been in most modern western countries.
Generally aviation security international has improved and one of the best improvements has been in aviation security officer training.
Globally aviation security has received substantial investment to improve all aspects of security in aviation and airports security.
The latest addition of state of the art security products and services like the new xray security machines at Manchester airport, should be viewed as another positive step forward by the aviation and transportation security industry to protect their fee paying passengers.
Many of these new increased security measures consist of overt security products and services. However many security in aviation products and services are covert.
By definition these means their presence is only known to a security cleared aviation security officer. One of the most sensationally reported security service aspects of the post September 11th terrorist atrocities, was the incorporation of armed sky marshals.
Sensationalised by the media, and reinforced by Hollywood the presence of armed sky marshals aboard civilian passenger aircraft attracted much global attention.
In reality the presence of armed law enforcement officers was nothing new for many civilian airlines. For a very long time just about every Israeli aircraft carried armed sky marshals, and still do. Aviation security in Israel has always been taken very seriously.
The Israeli's have been very, very successful at providing professional security countermeasures for their aviation and security authority.
If you think we are over the worst of the global war on terror, then think again, because all the aviation security consultants I know agree that we are only in the eye of the storm, and that tough times require tough counter security measures.
In my role as the British American Security Expert I am frequently asked if aviation and transportation security has peaked. Many passengers long for a return to 1 hour check in times and less intrusive airports security and xray security. In truth I believe we are in for the long haul regarding security in aviation.
It is wise to understand that aviation security international and every individual aviation security officer provides aviation security soley for the benefit of increased passenger safety and security.
If we do ever see a return to a one hour check in time for overseas flights then it is only likely due to the aviation and transportation security deploying new state of the art security products and services like the new xray security machines at Manchester airport.
Although privacy experts will always bang the drum about big brother intrusion, I can't think of a single genuine reason why any law abiding aviation passenger can voice concerns about a full and detailed xray security check at any airport.
The British American Security Expert & his aviation security consultants outline new aviation security measures for business owners. Aviation and transportation security can impact on business owners on business travel.
Aviation security international is such an issue; business executives need an awareness of security in aviation, airports security & xray security. Aviation and security & aviation security officer training have all improved.
If you ever want any reassurance of how effective our UK aviation security is, then just observe the abysmal lack of security measures at some of the better known overseas tourist airports.
