Campanile di San Marco (Bell Tower)
Reaching 325 feet into the air, Venice(TM)s Bell Tower is impressive when seen from the ground, but even more impressive are the views you will experience from the top of the tower. Look out over the islands, letting your eyes take in palaces, churches and architectural wonders. When the skies are clear, you can even catch a glimpse of the nearby Dolomite mountain range.
Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs)
This historic covered pedestrian bridge spans over the Rio di Palazzo, connecting the old prisons to past Doge(TM)s rooms of interrogation. Legend has it this was the last place a prisoner would stand and see the city before being locked away in a prison cell. It is also said that kissing your loved one in a gondola underneath the bridge at sunset will ensure an everlasting love.
Carnevale (Carnival)
Enjoy music, comedy, dance and more at the famous festival of Carnevale. If you wish to experience Carnevale, you must visit Venice in February. This annual event spans several days and includes pageants, concerts, theater, and masked balls. Carnival goers often dress in costume throughout the entire length of Carnevale.
