A Day Out With The Family
No matter how old - or young- your children are you'll want to spend time with them doing things that are both memorable and enjoyable

Go-Karting
If you have competitive children who love doing something a bit different then go-karting could be exactly what they would enjoy doing - and who knows, if they're particularly talented at it you might even have the next Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button in the family. But you won't know unless you try it! Another big plus point for go-karting is that most adults enjoy it as well, with groups of adults from stag-dos to corporate days out regularly taking to the track to race each other on what at first glance to be nothing more than oddly-shaped lawn mowers.
A Hot Air Balloon Ride
A hot air balloon ride is considerable more sedate than go-karting, but what it does is allow you and your children time to talk together and to enjoy the fabulous sites afforded by such a high vantage point. There aren't many children who wouldn't enjoy this specific treat and for adults too it gives you the chance to relax as your specially-trained pilot takes care of your route and the weather conditions so that you can just enjoy the scenery and the company of your children. Of course, one of the best things about flying in a hot air balloon is the fact that is incredibly safe and therefore you have no need to worry about the heights at which you are flying.
A Trip To The Cinema
Of course, there are days when you just want to be able to relax and not have to expend too much energy looking after your children. On these days taking them to the cinema is an idea as they'll sit quietly through a film and not bother you too much. On the downside, if you are going to the cinema it will probably be to watch something that interests them, which almost certainly won't interest you and will be especially mind-numbing. Of course, you could always leave them watching one film while you go and watch another!
