What Can You Do So The Relationship Will Last?
Everything is great in the ''honeymoon'' of the relationship
. Lots of fireworks and the two seem not to have ''enough'' of the other. The real test of a relationship comes some months later, when the spell vanishes and you can see your partner has flaws or when you realize that the crazy stuff you did at the beginning seems silly now.
She does no longer accept your friends to come unannounced and lie on the sofa for hours as if they are at their own home. She starts complaining she has to do a lot of cleaning because of them. This is only an example which shows that frustrations appear.
How can you pass over all these things and keep the relationship going on? There are some ideas:
1. Listen to her
This is the most important thing you can do so that your relationship will last and be great. Does she tell you she is fed up doing things like shopping, cleaning, cooking all alone? Does she also say that she hates one of your friends? Does she complain of being trapped? Listen to her and find a way to solve every chore together so that you both feel happy. Be there for her when she needs your help.
2. Offer gifts
You don't have to buy expensive stuff, perfume or jewels but what about a flower, a bar of chocolate or write a love note and put it on the bathroom mirror. Yes, it is true she loves you without presents too, but just look at her face when you offer her a little gift...
3. Pay compliments
You can use the classic saying ''you are so beautiful, so...'' or you can try something new. Tell her she is God's perfect creation, everything is great at her, mind, face and body.
There can be often compliments like ''a good cook'', ''the woman who is behind the man's successful career'', ''the best friend in difficult times''.
4. Surprise her in bed
Try something new and exciting. It does not have to be out of the ordinary. There can be dirty words, sex in a public place, a new position. Don't let monotony step into your love life.
5. Be by her side
Even if it is about material, financial, spiritual support, you must be there for her. Do this although she does not ask you to support her. Help her with a project, a test, a paper, housework even if you are not invited to do it, so prepare dinner, iron her blouse when she is in a hurry, lend her money when she cannot pay the rent. Show her you are the man she can rely on because you love her and you want to be with her.
