Indeed, a thirty mile section on the Hudson River's eastern bank has been designated a National Historic Landmark and draws new residents and tourists alike. Due to its popularity among tourists and its proximity to Manhattan, the Hudson River Valley hosts dozens of festivals each year. From historical to 21st Century, these events celebrate the Hudson Valley's culture and background.
While many people only know the Hudson River Valley as a vacation area, many families and individuals are drawn to the Valley because of the safety. The neighborhoods that make up the towns in the Hudson Valley are some of the safest in the USA.
