Access to the Internet is provided courtesy of both HSDPA in areas with 3G, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity where available. The renowned Safari web browser makes surfing the Internet a pleasure and is superbly accompanied by the handset's touchscreen abilities, with features such as pinch to zoom and an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate.

Access to the AppStore is provided as standard which allows users to access many thousands of applications which can be downloaded. Many are free of charge whilst others have to be paid for. Even by downloading free apps, users have the ability to turn their iPhone 4 into a highly functional and versatile tool which excels at any task you could possibly think of ranging from entertainment, to productivity in the workplace, so making it the media powerhouse with apps which perfectly complement the iTunes and iPod functions.

It is easy to see why the apple iPhone 4 has proven to be such a popular handset, and despite the inevitable teething problems which should be expected from a major product launch such as this, it looks set to remain at the top of many a gadget enthusiast's wish list.
