. These guys have brought to you several at home fitness workouts that have helped thousands of people get in fantastic shape and lose a ton of weight. Such as P90X, Turbo Fire, Chalean Extreme and now Insanity. Have you ever seen the infomercials?
TheInsanity Workout! was created by a hip hop dancer named Shaun T. This guys combines his dance workouts and his track and field background to create a pretty astonishing workout that is revolutionizing the way americans workout and lose weight.
This workout consists of 60 days of Max Interval Training: you exercise at maximum effort for about 3 minutes and then take a short 30 seconds break and repeat until you complete 40 minutes during phase 1 and up to 60 minutes during phase 2.
Insanity Workouts are pretty easy to follow because the Insanity workouts consists of a series of moves that you repeat 3 times. Each cycle is performed at a faster pace than the one you just completed. For example:
Jogging in place
Jumping jacks
Ski jumps
Power squats
Mummy kicks
After you've completed this sequence, you do it again but faster and then a third time even faster. At that point comes a short water break and then you'd move into a next set of moves.
Insanity has become very popular because you don't need any equipment to buy and all you use is your body weight. The workout will focus on getting you lean and ripped and in great physical shape. That sounds pretty cool, huh?
