Scotland is the most distinct nation of the UK, it is most famous for Loch Ness where a mysterious monster is said to lurk in the depths of the water. It is also famous for its kilts and medieval castles. The capital city is Edinburgh which is said to be a romantic city with the friendliest people you will come across. Edinburgh is the home to the world famous Edinburgh castle.
Wales is the only one of the four nations with its own language, its capital is Cardiff, which is said to be a beautiful city with lots of things to do and see. Wales offers most travellers some wild and wonderful scenery from lush green valleys to high mighty mountains.
Northern Ireland is on the island of Ireland and not on the island of Britain. It has a very bad history of riots and violence but has recently shrugged off its past and become a nice European country. The capital city is Belfast has lovely scenery with beautiful coastlines and many scenic attractions. Northern Ireland is easily accessible from Britain by daily flights and ferries.
