Report Any Breast Abnormality When You Found It
Breast cancer is a constant threat for every woman

Attending an annual mammogram is not enough for early detection. When you only attend a mammogram once a year and dont regulate some other examination of breasts, there is possibility that your cancer may detected at a later stage. But when you are consulting a monthly self breast exam you are at increased chances of taking out any early abnormality at once.
When you are starting a self breast check you can start with breast feel. Breast feel can be performed by breast massage. It can be done when you are lying in your bed. A breast examination played in the position when you are lying down is found very effective because it gives you a perfect feeling of inside tissues of breasts. Let start with feeling left side of your chest.
Once you have lied down put left shoulder under your head and after oiling right hand fingers with some herbal oil start massaging your left side of chest. There are many herbal oils available for breast massage and make your examination more understandable. When you are going to start breast massage, start from the middle of your left side. Make circular massage covering the whole left side area. As you have completed it feel your left armpit by pressing it with your right hand fingers.
It is important to feel your armpits whenever you are experiencing your chest because most of the cancer lumps are found within the armpits. As after you have completed feel of left side now start and complete the same exam with right side performed on left one. Once you have got free from both sides now to understand inner tissues press your whole chest area with a bit firm pressure with fingers.
When you have performed feeling of whole chest area, dont forget to look your chest for normal as well as abnormal change on breasts. Standing in front of a mirror you can get a clear understanding of your chest area. When you are standing in front of mirror first undress your upper part and then start inspection of your chest part.
Look vigilantly the shape and size of your breasts and dont forget to compare them. There can be an evident change between the size of both because when cancer develops in any breast it makes it larger and heavier. If you feel a very obvious change in breasts size it is abnormal but however having a miner change in size is natural and if you find then it is not a thing to concern.
Once you have done with size and have got familiar with shape as well be careful about your breast skin. Abnormalities that you can find on breast skin can be wrinkles, or dimpling on skin. You have to be careful when you are looking at your breast skin and any change that you never experienced earlier or you feel it as irregular then dont ignore it but quickly inform it to your physician. Nipples are also very important part of your breasts and they can also be affected due to breast cancer. It may have to experience a change in its position or a liquid discharging from them.
During a self breast exam you have to look for every part of your breast and you need to very active in reporting any abnormal change being experienced by you during this exam.
