Therefore, it can be easily understood that the Medicare Supplement Plans are only supplementary to the Original Medicare and there is no chance that it can be used with any other plan.

Though it is true that you can choose your Medigap by yourself, but it is always better to consult with your insurance agent before you invest on the Medicare Supplement Plans. There are several plans which apparently seem to be less profitable but the fact is that on the other hand these plans gives a better return in the form of deductibles. These plans help a lot with the deductibles they offer saves a lot of money.
