Ovulation Pregnancy
Imagine how long it takes for a working mother to get ready for work every morning compared to a woman who does not have any children
? How much work is involved for a mother or father going on a trip versus someone who doesn't have figure out who will care for their children or how much to pack for them? How much extra would paying for diapers, clothes, bottles, formula, and other needs children may have, actually cost every month?
Timing is everything when it comes to getting pregnant. Knowing your most fertile days by predicting ovulation lets you know what times of the month are the best times to try to get pregnant. There are a number of different methods you can use for predicting ovulation. For couples who have just started to try to get pregnant, one of the easiest ways to go about predicting ovulation is by using an ovulation calculator.
There are many ways that you can go about calculating ovulation. The simplest way to go about doing this is to use an ovulation calculator which allows you to calculate your most fertile days each simply by inserting the first day of your last menstrual cycle as well as the average number of days in your cycle. In order to gain a little more information about your cycle, many doctors recommend calculating ovulation by charting your basal body temperature to see when you typically ovulate each month.
Ovulation depends on your spouse's menstrual cycle, or the period between the first days of two consecutive periods. Though this differs for individuals, in most women the menstrual cycle is around 28 days. Typically, ovulation occurs somewhere around the middle of the menstrual cycle. Going by this, if your spouse's menstrual cycle lasts 28 days, ovulation in her case will occur around 14 days from the first day of her period.
The hormones that rule the female reproductive cycle are FSH or follicle stimulating hormone, estrogen, LH or luteinizing hormone and progesterone. The first one to appear is FSH. FSH begins to peak in production at the beginning of the menstrual cycle, during the menstrual bleeding. It's FSH that prompts the ovaries to produce about 15 to 20 eggs to mature. As the eggs mature they are encased in a follicle and it's this follicle that produces estrogen.
During the first half of the monthly cycle, a woman's body produces increasingly greater amounts of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and estrogen. The egg to be released that month is stimulated to grow by FSH. Estrogen, on the other hand, is responsible for the development of the uterine lining, which grows during each cycle to prepare for potential pregnancy.
Before you go out and purchase ovulation charts, you should look online as many sites offer free downloadable ovulation charts along with instructions on how to use them and example ovulation charts.
