New Titleist Irons reviews:AP2,AP1,2010 AP2,2010 AP1

What's the sameness and difference between AP1 & AP2? How about 2010 AP2 and 2010 AP1? Which among them is the best sale in 2010? Here is the best review you are looking for

Titleist have just released their highly anticipated 2010 Advanced Performance (AP) golf irons, the AP1 and AP2. These golf irons have been created to satisfy the needs of the golfer who wants both feel and performance from their clubs.

AP1 & AP2: More forgiving vs. More workability

The sameness is that they are both multi-material constructed and dual cavity, both very excellent irons for most golfers and players.

The Primary difference is that Titleist AP2 Irons are a forged iron set while the AP1's are cast irons.

AP1 is billed as a game improvement iron (wider sole, more offset, easier to get the ball in the air) while the AP2 is billed as a better player's club(small head, more ability to shape shots).

The AP1s are better for an intermediate player because they are more forgiving in fact, Titleist designed these clubs specifically for the standard amateur player. I wouldn't recommend buying the AP2s even if you plan on becoming much better because when that happend new and better technology will be available.

For most pros and low handicaps I recommend you would benefit more from the AP2's, which are less forgiving but more responsive, allow for more workability. The AP2s use "chromeplated technical forging for the skilled, single digit golfer who wants contemporary iron technology with traditional solid feel, looks and shot control."
