Is Getting A Threadlift Worth The Money?

With age being an unavoidable force, it tends to take its toll more ways than just tacking on another number increase to your age

. Sometimes age can hit one harder, mostly in the appearance area. Perhaps you are starting to see sag in your cheek area sag a bit more, and are getting more insecure about the direction it is starting to take. If you are a bit put off by more of the invasive surgery procedures that one can take, perhaps a less intrusive surgery can be to your liking. This type of procedure is known as a threadlift.

A threadlift is a procedure that is what was said above, a less intrusive surgery. For those who have first heard of it now, it is a procedure where anywhere from 4 to 12 sutures are placed into your skin and deep soft tissue. The rest is in the name of the procedure. A reason to get it would be the one reason stated; it is a less intrusive surgery. It is also a cheaper method with similar results to the more expensive routes to go, if you have it done by someone who excels at the said procedure.

With the lower cost, another reason to look into a threadlift is the fact after the procedure is done, the downtime one goes through is drastically less than any other higher level surgery. It has been dubbed by many doctors as the 'lunchtime lift' or the 'weekend facelift'. The time on the procedure has been generally acknowledged at being one that takes about an hour to perform.

The threadlift can also be done when you are awake. General anesthesia is really not needed due to the limited invasive of the surgery, in which some doctors can show you the pulling of the barbed suture with a mirror, allowing you to actually give input on the lift in which you can actually pick the desire instead of sleeping and waking up to what you hope is a perfect job done. While this goes on, you will be given an anti anxiety oral medication, as well as local anesthesia. So far there has been known problems post lift, since often times you end up without the dreaded feeling you get when general anesthesia is used like in other operations.

Now the procedure is still new, and its features are gleaming to the eye. It is a route that is slowly being taken for a facial lift, and like any other type of procedure, it does have its reported downsides. Making sure to know what they are, and finding a doctor who can perform the procedure to the best ability is key to the a successful lift.
