A stimulant called TSH, for Thyroid Stimulant Hormone, tells the Thyroid to produce a hormone called Tyrosine. Tyrosine binds with Iodine in the thyroid becoming the hormones T4 and T3. These hormone bonds with proteins in your blood stream called Thyroid Binding Globulin or TBG for short. It's this combination of hormones that regulates the energy level every cell in your body well operates at. So in short if you are tied all the time, depressed, Overweight, and just feel low on energy all the time all the time it's a good bet that your thyroid could use a boost.

Iodine is what your Thyroid combines with the TSH hormone to produce the T3 and T4 hormones. Over cooking and over processing foods can leach out of them many essential elements. Elements like Iodine, also there are places in the world where Iodine poor soils exist, it is estimated that 10% of the world's population suffers from Iodine deficiency.

It's the Iodine which creates the bonding sites for the TBG proteins to adhere to. Lack of Iodine slows down your metabolism causing a disease called Hypothyroidism. Hyperthyroidism is where your thyroid produces too much T4 and T3 hormone and your body races like it is on adrenaline all the time.

Stress, over exposure to toxins, chemicals, pesticides, or radiation can be all cause your Thyroid to malfunction. How can you tell if your Thyroid is malfunctioning? Simply, if you always tried, feel run down, and are having trouble with your weight. Your thyroid could use a boost. Remember it's.
