Some are the techies who are experts in all aspects of internet marketing like building a website, creating an opt in page, building a list, sending out thousands of exquisitely drafted emails and so on. Their aim is to make a killing. They will not be satisfied with a couple of thousand dollars per month.

And then there is the other extreme where we find people desperate to earn some extra cash. They will be happy with $1000 a month or even less - something that can add up to their income from their regular jobs. They are not interested in firing their bosses. They are rather worried that they shouldn't get fired.
