Every visitor should explore the mini-museums and exhibition rooms scattered around the fort as well as climb the fully functional 19th-century lighthouse for spectacular panoramic views.

Along the northern coast of Cuba is the Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens), an archipelago composed of many islands and cays (keys) formed on coral reefs. The Tren Turstico en Cayo Coco here is a train ride that includes the Sitio La Guira farm to learn about peasant farm life. The Tren Turstico en Cayo Guillermo is another train ride that takes you on a tour of Cayo Guillermos hotels. You will also visit the Playa Pilar or Pilar Beach named for the yacht of Ernest Hemingway. Cuba holidays have something for everyone!
