Gary Jezorski - Honest Review

Gary Jezorski, Bill Gates, Larry Ellison... 3 names not normally covered at the same time and Gary Jezorski is certainly not in the same financial league as the other 2 but all 3 definitely have a lot more in common than what might meet the eye of the casual observer.

This is especially true if you're not involved with software development nor part of the ecommerce environment. So why even bring Gary Jezorski into the same conversation?

It's because history has a way of repeating itself over and over again and in the internet age the time span of this "history" has been condensed into a much shorter time span than ever before.

Let me explain what I mean in a separate, yet associated, example that will demonstrate the truth behind this statement.

Unless you've been under a low tech rock, I'm sure you're familiar with the concept of "cloud computing" and software applications residing "in the cloud". Basically, you're depending on a huge computing service to store your data and run your applications while you simply connect to the cloud computing service via a dumb terminal, or via a smart PC that is simply not using its "smarts" at the moment.

Everything is happening on the cloud and you're only seeing the results the actions of that application from the cloud.

And if you're a little more "techie" than the average person, you also know that companies like Amazon and Microsoft and Google are giants in the cloud businesses. All these companies are providing the basic services to other companies and also providing active applications for your use.

In this "cloud" model, you're basically "renting" the home instead of "owning" the home.

But unless you're a little more on the "mature" side, you may not realize that IBM was one of the original "cloud" service providers. Of course, it wasn't called "cloud computing" back then, it was simply called "computing" or a mainframe computer. There was no other way to do computing other that using a room sized computer and a stack of punch cards.

Then came Apple and the personal computer, followed closely by many others including the ubiquitous "PC" powered by the Microsoft operating system. The personal computer decimated the mainframe computing industry and many pundits proclaimed the end of the giant, centralized computing model.

Fast forward 30 years and the buzz is all about "cloud computing" and the demise of the personal computer. Now you hear about all the benefits of the centralized computing model and why the PC has become irrelevant.

Call it "cloud computing" or a "mainframe" but the concept is the same, the architecture is the same and the benefits versus drawbacks are the same. We've simply come full circle in the computing concept in a very short historical time frame.

But what does this have to do with Gary Jezorski, Bill Gates and Larry Ellison?

They have all followed the same historical business model even though they did it, or are currently doing it, at different points in time. While Bill Gates and Larry Ellison have obviously gone through the start up to maturity to colossal giant, Gary Jezorski is still in the early stages of the cycle but following the exact same historical path.

1. Identify a massive market with fragmented competition and no established leaders.

2. Provide an all encompassing "product suite" solution that eliminates the need for the "single function" competitors and makes them irrelevant in the market.

3. Systematically expand the breadth of the system to expand the product market and financial rewards.

Nothing new, nothing groundbreaking, just follow the proven path to success. It's been said that those that fail to learn from the past are destined to repeat the past. In business, repeating the past can be a highly desirable option.

Will Gary Jezorski ever become the next Bill Gates or Larry Ellison? Only history will answer this question 10 years from today.
