People will have you believe that you can actually make money without spending any. Whether or not you spent any money on an opportunity, say to become an affiliate of a product, you spent money.
Isn't your time equivalent to money? For every time you spent posting ads to market your website and to bring people to click on your affiliate links, you spent money.
Therefore all the time you spent advertising and tweeting your business is all the times you spent money. Now how much did you make? Most people spend months promoting an opportunity hoping someday it will pay off. Some might even get a sparkle of green by seeing a few dollars in their account but if you divide those dollars by the number of hours spent, more than likely they made third world wages.
I have seen people get excited about earning .24 cent for everybody they recruit to join a website. Ten .10 cent for every survey they take. Fifty .50 cent for each video they watch.
I can't help but wonder what drives people to want to make money without spending a dime. Doesn't it stand to reason that if you are not buying and everyone has the ability to make money without spending, then no one is buying, so who is making money?
People will stand in twelve hour lines to get a dollar. When Kentucky fried chicken came out with their new chicken recipe and invited the world to try a piece for free, I couldn't buy a bucket for the lines of people who had been waiting for hours to get a leg or a wing of chicken.
Ironically, people will buy stuff that offers no return of investment but if you offer an investment with purchase they turn away. Go figure. How many of you shop? We all do. We go and spend our hard earned money on the lastest fads and gadgets for status. When it comes to a business opportunity that requires us to spend a few dollars to get a potential unlimited income, we frown.
So it goes to reason that people aren't making any real money and the only people making money is the person giving .24 cent to join a network. These businesses know what you are. They know you want something for nothing. They also know you are conditioned to buy from the places you shop everyday. So it is worth giving you .24 cent to join a network whereas you will be advertised to by companies you aleady shop. Duh?
Other promise you to tell your friends and family and when they tell their friends and family, they will pay you 10% of 10% infinity. They know better not to flash dollars at you these days, because others might say it's a pyramid scheme so they flash math at you instead.
It usually starts out with 10 X 10 equal 100. Then those 100 get 10 each that equals 1000. Those 1000 recruits 10 that equals 10,000. Now .10 cent don't sound like a lot but that is $1,000. But remember those 10,000 are referring 10 each and so on and so forth. Sounds go right? So you sign up and pay your $10 bucks a month believing the hype.
Suddenly reality hits you about $1,000 dollars later, not made but spent that you can't get 10 people to pay $10 dollars a month, so how are those 10 going to get 10 more.
Remember people, the only easy money made is the money you spend.
