Five Warning Signs That You're Dating A Married Man
A conversation I overheard at work piqued my interest
. One of the ladies in the agency was indicating to another she suspected her new boyfriend was indeed married. They were trying to determine what hints would give him away as being a married man.
Here's what they came up with:
1) He makes excuses not to see you and the excuses don't always make sense. "Michele," my co-worker, said her boyfriend said he couldn't see her last Saturday because he was going to Houston on for his work. When she saw him on Wednesday, she asked him how the trip had been and he seemed bewildered for a moment until he remembered his story.
2) There are places he won't take you. The lady in question said that she suggested they meet for drinks at a particular restaurant in his neighborhood and he adamantly refused, but suggested another night spot. She said he became flustered and his refusal to meet there was all out of proportion to what she would have expected.
3) His mobile phone rings and when he looks to see who is calling he says it's nobody. "Elizabeth," the friend, claimed this happened to her. The man she was dating did this a number of times. It turned out he wasn't married but he was engaged to another woman.
4) His house is "too messy," "too far," "too something" for you to stop by. One of them mentioned she suggested on a couple of occasions that she meet him at his home and he constantly had a reason why it wasn't a good time.
5) Some thing doesn't feel right. Both women agreed that they could tell some thing was wrong. They were suspicious but they weren't sure what to do about it. They concluded talking to close friends was the very best plan.
I need to confess something now. As much as I love and respect females, some things they do make me nuts. One of those things is believing that all troubles may be solved by speaking to girl friends. Women have extensive support systems and that's great, but often you will discover actual measures that can be taken to solve a dilemma. In case you think your boyfriend is married or may well be married, find out for certain!
Most of our own difficulties are self induced. It is true, but we continue causing our very own troubles even when there are positive steps we can take to correct them.
