Sign-up for Product Launch notifications (eg. JVnotify) or watch your inbox the moment you see multiple gurus pitching the same product you'll know a product launch is in the horizon.

Contact the product Author ask if you can be an affiliate. Tell him/her that you'd like to be an affiliate and that you'd like to provide a special bonus to complement that product. Ask his/her opinion on what kind of bonus(es) is best suited to the product in question. Then create the bonus or outsource the creation of the bonus.
Register a new domain with the product name in it e.g. "[product_name]bonus.com"
For example, trafficvoodoobonus.com, trafficvoodoobonus.org (both are already registered by some fast moving affiliates)
Step 4
Setup wordpress on the new domain/site (in step 3) and start posting 2-3 posts every day right up to launch day. Have a network of feeder sites' that link back to your main site (in step 3) and post every day to those feeder sites as well.
