Most likely it will provide you with some alternative spellings such as Allyson, Alyson and Allison.
If you are expecting a boy, a baby name website can help you decide on a name as there are literally thousands of
boy baby names to choose from. Quite often the names are listed alphabetically. They sometimes are even categorized by ethnic groups. For instance, if your family is Jewish there are Jewish baby boy names to look through which can give you some ideas that you never would have thought of otherwise. It is best to avoid names that are too trendy. As you probably know, many celebrities have been in the news over the past decade or so because they have chosen unique names that are considered to be downright bizarre. It is unknown if these celebrity parents realized the fact that their children will be stuck with these names at least up until the time they are legally old enough to change them. Avoid making that type of mistake because the name you give your child will define him or her for the rest of his/her life. Being teased because a child's parents chose a very odd name is nothing you want to put your child through so use some common sense.
